E o Troféu "eu me amo" vai para...
...o Nobel de Economia Joseph Stiglitz. Por que?
Porque, num estudo sobre os bons e maus usos das citações em artigos de economia, o cara que mais se citou em seus artigos foi ele.
Fonte: Incidentally, the all-time record for self-citations in a single article probably goes to Joseph E. Stiglitz. In his Nobel speech published in the American Economic Review, June 2002, Stiglitz cited 191 of his own works (including coauthored works). A fitting foil is Adam Smith: Never did WN (last edition 1789) nor TMS (last edition 1790) cite the other, except that in the preface to the last edition of TMS Smith mentions WN in remarking on how his advanced age will keep him from completing investigations originally proposed.
